Genealogy Resources by VeritasPrep
The Elliott County Historical Society wants to thanks Ms Francesca Davis' Kids Genealogy Club for sharing the below link.  It's GREAT!!!  We also shared the email she sent too.

Good morning!

We wanted to say thank you for your page, , all the way from Seattle!  The kids from my Genealogy Club found your resources to be so helpful while they are trying to track down their ancestral roots!

The kids would like to suggest another page, as a thank you for being such a big help:

"Genealogy Resources by VeritasPrep"

They wanted to make a special request to add this to your page!  I took a look and thought it had a lot of great information...I think it would be a great read for your other visitors.

Thank you again and if you include it, please let me know...they would be honored to see it up!

Hope you have a great Monday!

 Ellis Island Site

Here is a great site that was shared with us.  Please read the email below....

I just wanted to say thank you for your webpage ( I'm Leanne, and I volunteer with my local children's group. This weekend, in honor of Ancestor Appreciation we are beginning a genealogy project with the kids and their families. Your page had some great stuff that we will be able to share with them. Thanks for all the help! :-)

One of the girls in my group, Alana, found a great resource on Ellis Island and its records that I thought I'd share with you, . Can you add this to your list of resources? She's not as outgoing as the rest of the group, so I thought showing them all your page with her link on it would put her in the spotlight. Also, I thought it would help others researching their genealogy.

If there's anything else you think I should share with the kids, please let me know. Thanks again, and have a great rest of the week!

Take care,

Lucy shared this body of work with the Kentucky Historical Society and they have them in this search data base on their site. Here is a direct link to the site
